The science of work, how we work, and how we experience work

Hi. I use data storytelling to make work better

Let’s design work that people love

I lead the people data & analytics function at the University of Virginia.

Developed & currently teaching the inaugural people analytics graduate course (HRD6397) at the University of Houston

I have a PhD in business psychology from The Chicago School.

And have 20+ years of experience in people analytics, including founding & leading teams at the U.S. General Services Administration, Carrier, UBS, and Allstate.

I’m passionate about data visualization. I refer to it as the seeing & thinking of data.

My research in data visualization literacy focused on how people see data clearly and think about its meaning.

I’ve presented at national conferences and workshops.

I write about people science as the intersection of io psychology, people analytics, and the future of work.

I have a modest start on Google Scholar & ResearchGate.
